Hi everyone,
Just thought I would make this thread to introduce myself.
Right now I am 21 years old, 81kgs, 177cms ~16% bf (only estimating bodyfat).
I've been training on and off since I was 18 in my last year of high school. At 19 I was about 83kgs (slightly higher bodyfat) but a bit better on the big 3 lifts doing starting strength and then later DC training (since I used to lurk constantly over at intense-muscle). The next year I took some time off from training to travel. Later I became very ill with decompression sickness after scuba diving. After this I was about 71kgs, but at least I had low bodyfat... Once I could train again I got straight back into SS for a couple months, lifting heavy and eating big etc.
Now I'm doing DC training again and for the last 6 weeks or so I have been following Martin Berkhans Leangains intermittent fasting diet (with good results). My lifts are going up a little every week. I maintain a spreadsheet that logs the macro-nutrient values of everything that I eat according to certain targets to make sure that I am eating right every single day.
Next week I'm aiming to deadlift 140kgs (308lbs) for 6. It'll be a new personal best for me.
I've only just started to consider the possibility of using gear. Right now my goal is simply to get as big as possible, so it seems logical that sooner or later gear will factor into this... Right now I'm here to learn and hopefully answer that question (sooner or later?).
