First post - 45 year old looking for advice

    Hi all -

I'm a 45 year old dude looking for a bit of advice. I'm wanting to jump into my first cycle, but am a bit freaked-out about it. I've combed the threads looking for decent advice, sifted through all the posts targeting over 40 year-olds, and have come up with a broad-spectrum of guidance. Are there any over 40 year old guys out there with positive cycling history that would be willing to share their experience with me? Lots of people have advice, but most of them seem to be in their 20's...great, but perhaps not the best for someone my age. I've been working out for over a decade and am tired of gains that are average at best. I'm 45, look good for my age but would love to look GREAT for my age. I realize that the first cycle is the most beneficial, and would love to hear from fellow 40+ guys who have had good luck with anabolic supplements.

    Thanks,

    737

    Welcome.

There are plenty of us over 40 guys here, but the actual "over 40" section doesn't get a lot of action. Mostly because the nutrition, lifting and AAS advice you will find here is pretty universal.

You will find a lot of the older guys in the TRT section.

and in the sexual performance threads and "Stop the hair Loss" thread or Stop the hair growing threads, those are all great for the over 40 group..

    Welcome,

I am 46 and and have been seriously back lifting for the last 2 years. After the first year I tried my first cycle of test and equipose at the recommendation of a friend. Unfortunately although my friend looked great he really did not have any knowledge of aas and gave me no guidance. So between that and my complete ignorance on the subject the cycle went bad. After a month my strength increased dramatically and I ended up hurting myself. I had to abandon the cycle and spend 2 months without lifting at all. I have been back for almost a year and am in great shape again. I have been reading online boards like this and getting as much info as possible as I would like to try again only this time do it right. As all the veterans on these boards always suggest. Do the research.
