Hey folks,
For anyone that cares, I'm a 20 year old college student whom had gained the sophomore 30, and decided that I had to change something; so, I took a year leave from school and joined the military. I'm in a special forces unit, which has really given me an incentive to get in the best shape possible.
I'm 5'8'', 193 lbs, and ~15%bf. One of my military buddies told me the site had a lot of good information on nutrition with a solid community, so here I am lol. As far as goals are concerned: I'd like to become more knowledge on fitness, and by reading around for the past few hours, I'm amazed by just how much information these forums have.
Thus far, I've been mostly doing army regimented training and have dropped approximately 35 lbs. I want to get into lifting in order to better sculpt(I still have 2 years left of undergrad, so aesthetics are important:) increase muscle, and get those abs lol.
I look forward to learning a lot and making some like minded friends
