What's good fellas? My name's Jack, and I've only really recently just started again exercising properly, where I at least try do to something a day at least. Anyway, a small reason why I've came here, is I've just got cleared (a week or so ago) from a chronic injury... Fell from a 2 story house onto a concrete wombat garden ornament when I was 17, nearly 18 and got what the doctors desbribed as a "family tree fracture" in my heel, and also re-did a stress fracture I had in my knee when I was a wee lad.
Anyway, around the ages of 15-17, I was quite the athlete. I came within 2 people (scholarships) away from being accepted into the AIS (I'm Aussie) for basketball, but was told despite considerable athleticism for my age (37 inch vert when I was 16) I was too small and they couldn't gauge how tall I would be due to my strange stature (giraffe neck, crooked back lol) and they felt that I'd succeed in other areas. Though admittedly I was pretty raw still anyway. Other areas, they referred to, was my NSW AFL Academy scholarship I had with Collingwood FC (main football code in Aus) and I was still with them until shortly after I broke said knee and heel again, and if things went swell I should have been picked up by them in last year's rookie draft, but obviously that didn't quite pan out.
I know that might sound far fetched, but whatever, I've got nothing to gain about lying, I'm just here to give you all an idea of my physical background.
None of it really matters anymore, anyway, because over those 3 years (I'm 20 now) all physical advantages or talents I had are either in deep deep hibernation or have left me. I've got my life planned out otherwise.
Anyway, I stayed steady doing pretty intense weights and bench, obviously I was allowed because that wasn't an injured part of my body, but if anything, I can't seem to hold any mass. I'm quite toned still (still have 6 pack without flex) and my arms have shape, but I'm still pretty skinny. I have long arms and skinny forearms because I broke both arms when I was 13 for a while, and they never quite... developed? lol.
Anyway, there's the intro, guys. I'm gonna busy myself the next while looking at all your ed threads, because my older brother (who had the choice of the AFL or Navy himself) has suggested recently I start a small juicing course. He never quite said what because he's a whipped c*nt and his missus put an end to any help from him...
I'll stick around lads so introduce yourselves to me, too! And tell me what kind of resident member you are!
