    New guy in florida wants to get big

    im tired of being that skinny geek that goes to the gym and doesn't get any bigger, i get stronger and stronger and i eat and eat and eat and i cant get any heavier then 160 at 6foot, all im looking for is something very basic but above store supplements, something that'll make me look like ive been working as hard as i have. can somebody please help me with this??

    you say you eat and eat. Can you post what you eat for a typical day?
    If people can't tell your on steroids then your doing them wrong

    well my income is very low so i buy what i can, and i basically eat alot of ground beef, rice, pasta, potatoes, and i also buy steaks and cut them into fours and eat those along with a big bowl of rice or pasta during the day, ive read that i should probably be eating about 5-6 meals a day but with my work schedule im only able to fit in about 4-5 at the most, and on a busy day about 3-4, i have a protein shake right before i go to bed and after i workout, i also take creatine, and No2 boosters, i eat about 4-6 boiled eggs in the morning along with two cups of whole milk. for small breaks i eat some plain non sweetened yogurt with a small ziplock bag of mixed nuts. there's more that i eat but these are the basics.

    You shouldnt have any trouble gaining weight. I have friends that said the same thing but told them to up their calorie intake to 4000 cals and `300g of protein a day. If you have trouble gaining mass with that then there is something wrong with you.

    well this is why im looking for help, im not looking for somebody to tell me there's something wrong with me, no hard feelings or anything you know what i mean? im just looking to see if there's something that one ups store supplements, something that'll make me bigger faster. but not up in the ranks of the really hardcore stuff, im just learning and i want to start small.

    Creatine will help your muscles retain water and heal faster and kind of adds bulk, just make sure you are getting over a gallon of water a day. Also if you are trying to stay cut at the same time and do cardio, I suggest using BCAA supplement, if you over train you can lose muscle mass too. BCAA prevent muscle breakdown.

    well i already take creatine and drink a ton of water, me being a firefighter i have to stay more then really hydrated throughout the day. as of right now im just trying to bulk, its really easy for me to stay cut. i actually just ordered some BCAA about two days ago im supposed to receive it tomorrow.

    are you doing alot of cardio?
    No there isnt really a sup thats going to make a big difference. More food is your answer

    Welcome to AR. Spend time in the training & nutrition forums. Protein is king and focus on the big compound exercises. Google "20 Rep Squats and Milk Programs"
