    I am still clueless

I have read articles on here for 2 hours and I am still clueless. Can somebody tell me what to read or where to go?

I am 49 years old. 5' 11" 190. I work out with light weights regularly, jog and walk. But at my age, I don't have the strength or stamina that I used to have. Heavy weights wear me out.

I don't care about getting huge muscles. And all I want to do is get more hormone in my blood, muscle up a little bit and lose about 20 pounds of fat, get down to about 170 again.

I read about all these cycles and complications. Isn't there just something simple and relatively safe to do? Or can somebody tell me what to read? I am getting a little frustrated. I have no idea where to start here.

    thanks

At your age it would be a good idea to get some blood work done and see where your tests levels are at. Speak to the doc about possible TRT.

Other than that most other things relate back to diet. With a good diet almost anything is achievable. What does your diet look like currently?

i would get blood work done like others said. Your 49 your not that old. There are plenty of guys no here older. You need to work your way up with the weights, pushing yourself is the only way to get ahead. What wears you out this week will be easier in a couple weeks.

i would head to the nutrition section here also. Read the threads up top and then post what you are eating now. Loosing a weight is a matter of what you eat not inject
If people can't tell your on steroids then your doing them wrong

Hi- Scroll down the Forums page to the hormone repla***ent section; once there read HRT repla***ent parts 1,2 & 3.... welcome to the club....like others have said get a blood workup, and be sure to tell your doctor you suspect low testosterone, and for him to request the appropriate tests when the blood is drawn. Depending on the results, have him refer you to an endocrinologist for proper treatment. Also check your diet to be sure you are eating a pretty clean & balanced diet; a good diet doesn't have to cost a lot of money. And remember, supplements are just that- dont rely on them as your main source of calories.
