    Need advice about Winstrol

Hello all, I am completely new here and really pretty new to body building as a whole. Right now I am 31 years old and feel as if I am at a crossroad in my life. I used to work out in my upper teens and early 20's and then a bad car accident ended that. I basically fell out of it and just never really got back into it except for 6 months here and 6 months there. Last year following a relationship gone bad, I decided to take a medication that had been previously prescribed for me a year earlier for help sleeping and to help with anxiety. Even though it had been prescribed at a different time in my life, at the time I figured that given the state I was in (loss of 20 lbs, not sleeping, anxiety) that I had nothing to lose I decided to take the med. Anyway, long story made short, it helped me enormously. The medication is actually prescribed for people with bi-polar disorder, and well given the fact that it seems to keep me level, it has become apparent to me that I in fact must be bi-polar.
Along with dealing with my problem and starting on this new medication, as I already said my quality of life was coming together as I was eating again, sleeping the whole night through and my mind was at ease for the first time in months. Such relief! Now comes the shit part of all of this. I am 5-8, and right now weigh about 200 lbs. When I started taking the medication I was at the lowest I had been since high school weighing only 159, which to me was a major signal that something was wrong. However since being on the med, I have gained about 40 lbs and it was not until about a month ago that I decided to do something about it.
I am now visiting the gym daily throughout the week every morning doing just cardio. I burn roughly 500-600 calories a day on the bike in about 35 minutes. I am simply just trying to get myself back into shape. I want to loose around 25 lbs, and plan on starting to lift weights daily after my cardio workout. I am not trying to gain mass, but simply just trying to tone up my upper body, arms, chest, abdomen etc.
Now for the crazy part. I tend to do things sometimes with out giving much thought to them and that is why I am here writing on this forum. I have read a little about a steroid called Winstrol and had found out, that it is used for cutting cycles after bulking up. I also read that it can help you to burn 80% more fat than if you were not on the steroid so I found a rather cheap source and decided to make the purchase. I have a lot of research to do however before I decide to go forward and take the stuff.
My plan is this. Even though I have not been working out for years and don't have this incredibly solid body, I am looking to try to shred some fat, get a bit lean, and tighten up my upper body. Basically from what I have read, Winstrol is used for cutting cycles, and am planning on continuing to do a solid cardio routine every weekday, and in the not to distant future start back to the weights. I guess what I am trying to figure out here is this. Will the Winstrol help me loose weight and give me any type of advantage over simply just doing my normal cardio routine?
I know that it is not magic and you have got to work to see results but I absolutely do plan on doing this, as I have been working hard each morning for the last 1 to 2 months. I have read about the side effects of the stuff and yes it scares me a little however if it becomes really bad, or to much to handle then I don't have to continue with the cycle.
At this point I am just trying to find out some opinions on how long the cycle should be, and what the dosage for each day should be as well. I would like to know how they make you feel mentally and physically. The pills I bought are called "British Dragon". I bought 100 50 mg tablets and am just waiting for them to arrive. I would like to hear some of your input though and I invite any of your constructive criticisms. I don't know any dudes that take any steroids, and only know a handful of guys that are into body building so I really don't have anywhere to go to get answers to my questions. Please feel free to tell me what you think. Any positive input is well appreciated.

doing winstrol itself is a bad idea.... simple research will tell you why.

also, for me 2 things stand out.

    1) a buddy of mine was "bi-polar". his sex drive went in the toilet and his weight went way up when he went on the meds. it was making him a lazy zombie, AND - when he had his bloodwork done, the bi-polar medication stunted his LH and FSH functions of the pituitary gland. His body was not making testosterone any longer.

    2) You're gonna get asked this anyway, so i guess i'll be first: from the time you get up, till the time you go to bed - what do you eat, meal by meal, on an average day?

you can do all the cardio you want, but the foundation of any goal is your nutrition. I see guys in the gym, year after year, they never look better. Yet they do 2hrs of cardio a day!

    all the best!

edit: p.s. i think you'll be disapointed by winstrol. it typically doesn't do anything noticeable untill you're in the later stages of cutting. it's not a miracle pill fat burner at all. I honestly think there's a misconception about winny and what it does/how effective it is.

I think this would be better off in steroid forum boss. A simple hi I'm new here blablablaaaaa whatever would have been sufficient but this part of the board doesn't discuss those things here.. I would edit this and post that ^^ over there in steroid questions and answers.. To be honest I'd love to see what the vets other guys with years here have to say about this.. I'm not knowledgable enough with Winstrol to even give you my .02 sorry... Good luck mate.

My diet is not anything to brag about. However I do not eat a lot of garbage either. In the morning I take a multi vitamin and eat usually a bowl of cheerios, or something without any added sugar. I also do drink coffee, and yes I do use creamer in it. Once mid morning comes I eat nuts and usually drink gatoraide just to help get me to lunch. I drink gatoraide or a sugar free iced tea through out the day on a daily basis. At lunch time I usually eat yogurt, sometimes 2 depending on how hungry I am which usually holds me over until I get out of work. For dinner, I usually will have either chicken or lean beef, with a serving of mixed vegetables. Basically my diet is not great by any means and it is rather boring. I used to just eat anything I felt like. Before I started the medication, I never had any weight gain and could pretty much eat what ever I felt like. Even after the weight gain, when I was eating randomly and whatever I wanted I still did not seem to gain any weight, just stayed the same at like 203. Now that I am trying to loose weight I am limiting myself to three meals a day and trying for low calorie intake. Usually I feel fairly good and feel like I am getting enough calories to keep me from feeling sluggish but who knows, maybe I am going about it all wrong. I have never talked to a nutritionist or have never even been on a strict diet either. I am really just experimenting to see if doing any of this is actually going to help. I am very nervous that I will never be able to lose the weight that I have gained as I have read that people generally have a tough time when on the medication that I am on.

No need to be nervous I'm sure strict dieting cardio will put u on the right track... It's not easy dude.. time time time! I used to think of it as I didn't gain those extra 40lbs overnight it's years and years of unhealthy eating habits and just not really caring to do anything about it... Now it's all FUN! Lol you can't think of it as a chore you got to get to the point enjoying chaffing together a nice healthy salad with some boneless chicken breast and some LOWFAT dressing ..a little bit of dressing I may add.. Lol... It's really a lifestyle change tho .. With a strict diet in place based on your needs body weight etc etc the results are boundless you will go far then maybe consider some "kick in the ass" to get u to that NEXT level.... check out the dieting section here I'm sure you'll find tons of help and someone will gladly help you put together a diet for your goals..

Btw degree did you read that WINSTROL cuts fat by 80% or whatever you said ^^^ there? Just curious I've never came across anything like that.. Like I said I'm uneducated in WINSTROL and wouldn't give any advice on something I dont know about .. As he said I was told by EVERYONE it needs to be ran when you have a low BF% to see results ..I really just don't know what will happen...test monkey? Lol Jk ...good luck

Haha I get what you are saying. I know it probably seems like I am some totally ignorant person just willing to do anything for a quick fix. Fact is I kind of bought the stuff out of impulse and I really don't even know if I will use it. I was gonna split them with a buddy but I feel like this is the place to become knowledgeable about the facts behind the stuff. I know it is going to take very hard work day in day out. I used to have a fairly decent looking body, and then I turned into a fatass. Well, actually I'm not really super fat, but I have a gut that looks like I drink like 12 beers a night. The rest of my body didn't really change only my upper and lower stomach. I definitely went up 2 or 3 sizes in pant size from a 32 to now I'm at a snug 34. I think a good portion of the weight is partial to the med that I am on, and the other from eating like 3 slices of pizza for lunch several times a week. You are right. I need to make a lifestyle change and I think it starts with the diet. I like your idea about the salad and light dressing. I mean I have never really been a huge fan of salads, but you're not the first person to tell me that it what I should be eating. I do wonder though, when you are eating salads and things like it that are low calories, is there a threshold where you might not be getting enough calories? I will visit the dieting section and find out exactly how many calories I should be taking in during a single day to keep me energized. Thanks for the encouragement and advice.

I take 10 mg of Zyprexa. It really helps me sleep. I have tried coming off but have had little success. It helps me sleep and keeps sort of mellow. One major side affect of this medication is weight gain and I have tried others but they make me feel like shit. I might think about lowering the dosage to 5 mg and see what happens from there. I have spoken to the doctor about the weight gain and they really are not helpful. I'm sorry but what are you referring to about "mess + aas"? I don't know what that stands for.

Typo ... Meds and WINSTROL or any steroid for that matter don't go too well together I personally try to get off of everything prescribed before cycling to be able to pinpoint reactions and sides directly to one thing...not a med counter acting a steroid or something of that nature ..
