What's up everyone? I am a former pro MMA fighter that has fallen so far out of shape and need help or suggestions getting back. Last fought in 2005 at 205lbs with approx 15%bf. Long story short, got injured stopped training and fighting now I'm 35 years old and weigh 280 not sure of bf% but I'm sure its high. I've been back in the gym for the past 2 months but hardly noticing any fat loss even though my diet is decent. So I guess I'm wondering what some opinion are as far as what I should be on or consider. I am naturally pretty muscular and although my gut and handles are huge I'm not a softy. I'd appreciate any input members here may have.
