I wish it was simple enough to put it all in one post

First you have to understand that diet is key. You have to eat right to get bigger. Head to the nutrition section and post your current diet and from there we can help make the right changes. Watch the videos in the stickies there as well.

What are you currently doing training wise?

What lift are you doing? Bench Press? Squat?

If possible you need to look into getting a gym membership. Working out one bodypart is not the answer. You need to do a variety of lifts targeting different muscles of the body

A gym in general with access to multiple weights and machines would be much better than what you are currently doing.

Protein is the main thing you should focus on. Dont go out and buy a lot of junk because the label says it helps.

Save the money for food because your diet is the most important supplement

I also suggest you try to find some kind of complete weekly training method, so that you have a good idea of general workout routines.
You could for example buy/google Weiders method, which is something that many has started with.

    Knowledge is power.
So find a complete workout routine, and in addition, it helps to check videos(youtube) of workouts (of your weekly routine) to perfect your techniques. Try to google some famous people like Jay Cutler, Ronnie Coleman etc, because they are the top guys with correct techniques. There are so many bad advices in the net, that yourt best shot is to find Mr. Olympia competitors and their videos, because obviously they are doing something right to get that far!

After that all you need is REGULAR workouts, and don't hurt yourself with too heavy weights.

    Warm UP and stretch well

    I hope this helped.

I know it says new member in my profile, but I am 40yr old, and I have been lifting for many years. First time since I was 15 year old. I'm just new in these forums

Welcome... read the various forums on this board and try the various diets and training routines. As long as you have overload, progression and recovery you'll progress. Remember we are all different therefore you will find you respond better to certain methods than others.
