    Hello from a new member!

I have been training for 6 months and I have been getting amazing results. I went from 110lbs to 140lbs lean with 8% body fat naturally. I have reached a stage where my gains seem to have stopped and I seem to have hit my peak. I'm still on the fence about using gear so I'm here to do some more research and get to know some of you guys that use gear and possibly transition into it.

Welcome... there's no way you've reached your peak after only 6 months of training. Focus your research in the training & nutrition forums for now.

    Welcome to the board mate!

Let me tell you. the first 6 months is always the most dramatic in terms of changes to your physique. You are turning yourself into a weight lifter. Your tendons and ligaments are picking up strength, you are able to stress your muscles with little fear of damage at this point. Your body fat has hopefully been going down, and your lean body mass has been going up.

But to coin an old phrase frequently spoken around here, what we do? this is a marathon, not a race! you have barely taken your first step into this life, and the gains will come steady, but slowly for the next couple of years or so. This is not a signal to start taking drugs. Instead, it is a time to perfect your knowledge about nutrition and your workout routines. It will take a few more years to master these two areas, and you will be rewarded for your efforts. Remember, imperfect knowledge yields imperfect results. If your diet is half assed, so will be your results. So will under/over/improper training. Once you have done the hard work, and mastered your diet and workout routines, and feel you can go no further any other way, is a good time to start thinking abouut anabolic steroids. But, this should take you a few years, most will say 4+. But until you do this, any gains you receive from steroids will sadly go away because you will not know proper diet or exercise routines to support all this new gains.

Do it slow and do it right.

Thank you Roman for your advice and the reason why I'm here is because of just that because I can't seem to go any further naturally. I understand that 6 months is a short period of time to have already mastered dieting and training routine but I do not know how much I can stress that I have those things down. I'm not one of those people that say "I have my diet and training down" when in fact they do not and they complain about their result in the end. Hopefully the avatar of myself can tell you a little about my progress so far. If you need to know my height and age I'm 25 and about 5'6

Why is it impossible for you young guys to listen and wait. I am 57, I lifted in competition for 25 years clean, I improved naturally for 25 years, Now you improve cannot after 6 months. This is nonsense! Work harder, heavier, faster and more. eat better. become something really special and then you can think about using!

Thanks John Andrews for your advice and I am currently doing just that. I am working harder lifting heavier and eating even more calories.

    Hey Copurt-

There is a sticky at the top of the 'Anabolic Steroids - Questions & Answers' forum called
'You'll want to read this!'. It's an excellent post. Read it and see what you think.

It sounds like you made super gains in your first six months. That's great. You really took
advantage of that period. A lot of people f around when they start and don't gain what they
    could.

You may have hit a temporary sticking point at six months. It will take work and reading and
thought and probably rest to get yourself growing again. Don't shortchange your body and
start cycling this early in your training.

Read the post I referenced above. It may help you.

    Good luck.

Welcome to the forums from a newbie to a newbie... I think you can still grow without any gear though. Watch ur diet and train harder. I started working out at 17 now I'm 24 and I just barely started my first cycle. I think that in order for them to work you should have at least 3-5 years or training under your belt. But that's just me ...other than that good luck and welcome
