I'm a new member thinking about starting a cycle of Anavar - my 1st use of steroids. I'm 6'2" 235, 35 years old and am having a little trouble losing some excess fat (maybe 5-10lbs worth) so it seems like the right choice. over the last 4 months or so I've lost 20 pounds of fat and probably gained 6-8 of muscle but have seemed to have plateaued on the fat loss (though not on strength/endurance gains). I have a physical job and work out (gym) 3 times a week plus ocean kayak 4+ hours of paddling once or twice a week I also have a short flat bike ride to work (15mins.) My diet is pretty good (1800-2200 cals a day) heavy on meat, light on carbs (usually my only carbs come from a vitamin water i drink before working out , some gatorade powder i mix at work and a couple of vodka and diet tonics a day) of course like everyone I cheat sometimes (i've a weakness for bbq and terriyaki sauces) and sometime I can't avoid eating them (processed foods all seem to be heavy on sugars), I eat a moderate amount of veggies and fruit (more carbs - but not such bad ones.) Any workout diet advice would be welcomed. My gym workouts usually consist of 30min on a strider then lifting two complementary muscle groups (chest/triceps ect.) I usually do three-four exercises for each group with four sets each the first three are high rep (10-15) lower weight ascending to maybe 80% of my max, the last is the to max of my strength and usually are 4-8 reps. Currently the only supplement I take is Creatine before and after a gym workout its the only supplement i trust to have any effect (I miss GHB.) Like I said before any advice would be appreciated.
