10kg is a dump truck load of muscle to put on. Try for 2kg and work your way up
Hi mate, I am 56 and started the same time as you. I wanted to be strong, made it to no 1 my state and no 2 rank Aus. 26 years just keep training and enjoy the ride. Growth is not quick. Good bodybuilders have trained at least 10 years. Good luck and be patient. john

try a brief rest once in a while say 2 weeks out the gym. you won't loose too much maybe some strength and also change your training
