Thread: What really works?

    What really works?

Like others I have actively lifted weights over the years. Right now, sad to say, I haven't been lifting so my weight jumped to 234 lbs. I am 43 years old, 6'0" tall, and normally when I am in "sports" shape my weight is normally 180 lbs.

What I would like to do is cut my weight back to 175 to 180 of lean dense muscle. Normally I do martial arts so having a larger build actually slows me down when competing. The normal routines are no longer as effective as before. It's been really difficult getting motivated, and when I get to the gym I feel weak, and tired. I deduced these changes are related to my age so I need to change what I do to accomodate getting older. My weight has bounced around before, I do have the ability to drop to 215 - 220 quickly without supplements by altering my diet.

So what really works? I was looking at the cutting stack, but I just don't see reviews either way that support or don't recommend these products. I need some energy back and I want the fastest way to get back in shape for competition. This time around I want to drop weight while getting my energy back, building lean muscle, and cutting my body fat to less than 10%. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions. When I start a program I'll do before and after, so I want to go all the way with it this time.

Thanks in advance for listening, sorry about the long post.

It can be done, I am also 43 Y/O 6'1" started at 250lb and dropped to 200 in 5 months, diet and exercise. You should not need any "stack" to lose the weight.

Have you had your Testosterone checked?

    No I haven't, I'll make an appointment.

I was thinking the cutting stack would speed the process up.

    Welcome to the board mate!

1st things 1st, like the member above me pointed out, it's probably time to get the ol' testosterone levels checked. Yer probably running low. If so, and getting that fixed, will be a big difference right there.

Rest is diet, cardio and exercise.

Get the panels and let us know what your results are.

    Good luck!
