    The New Guy

    Hey All.

28 year old male from Alberta, Canada. Been lifting for 13 years sometimes more seriously than others.
Started a cycle a couple weeks ago hoping to get some more muscle mass built.

Currently weighing in at 290lbs, carrying most of my weight in my midsection unfortunately!

Hoping to get very well versed in the world of body building.

    Just call me Tiny.

At 290 I would suggest more at increasing LBM and decreasing fat. Profile says 6'2 but what bf % are you?

    Also where about in Alberta?

    I'm from BC

    Thanks Ink,

Bucka, I'm working on doing just that. I have quite a bit of lean muscle, but I have far too much BF. As for the percentage I do not know. I have not had it tested for years and in that time I have made some very drastic changes in my body. Is there an effective at home do it yourself kind of test that I can do to get a rough idea?

I'm from Edmonton, where about's in BC are you?

There are more precise measures but the images below will help you guesstimate.

As a general rule, we recommend people hold off on steroids until their bf is 15% or lower, they've trained consistently for two years, and have a proper nutrition plan in place.

Anything above 15% bf increases risks associated with steroids.

I'm probably in the low 20 range by that guesstimate. I've read that 15% BF rule and I'm comfortable with it. Fortunately I've never suffered any real negative issues in the few years I have been using.

Just have to get the diet down back to where it was.
