    G'day

    Hi from Oz,
just thought I would say hello. Been reading your posts for a few days now and I am very interested in trying a cycle. Though I have no idea where to begin.

I just turned 41 and I am only new to lifting weights as this will be my 6 month and I have became a addict and I love the feel of the pump, I only wish I started it in my teens.

I am ex military and have always played football or surfed so always been active.

Since I been hooked on the gym. I have changed my whole attitude and body by working out 5-6 days a week with running for 6-10kms once or twice a week. I have dropped from 115kgs to 85kg to 15-20 body fat. I feel good I look different and I have a nice 6 pack for the first time I can remember.

Thing is my gains are small. I am getting annoyed seeing these younger guys come in skinny and full of zits to 2 months later look like arnie. Where I seem to go no where. I read that I should wait for after a few years of Lifting and get more muscle base before I even start to think about roids. But like I said I am 41 and time is running short.

I am eating well and learning and practicing good nutritional habits and trying to find the best way to get the most out of my training and body.

Don't want to sound like a broken record here but what do you guys think??? Am I to old or to skinny to start a cycle.

And if not where do I start and what should I cycle with and for how long.??

    Cheers guys

Welcome aboard! Please repost in the Question & Answer section for more views and responses. Make sure you read all the educational threads and stickys, especially in the training and nutrition sections. It's not a good idea to cycle after only 6 months of training. Cycling will give you that extra edge after you have everything else in line. I would also get bloodwork to see how your test level is. Low test levels can relate to a lack of progress in the gym, as can poor nutrition or an inadequate training program .
