New to this site (and to bodybuilding, for that matter). Sad to say I'm 35 years old, but everyone starts sometime (some later than others).
A little about me... Well, as I said, I'm 35. I've been pretty skinny all my life. Hell, I enlisted in the Marine Corps in 2000 weighing 145 pounds at 6 feet tall. No matter what I did (mass gainers, protein, healthy diet, working out), I could not gain weight.
Now I'm a healthy 203 pounds, but still lacking muscle in the right areas. I started working out March 1, 2013, and have gotten my arms from 12 inches to 13-1/4 inches using the usual OTC stuff (protein, BCAAs, glutamine, creatine, blah blah blah).
I'm not looking to bulk up so much as I am to lose my midsection, love handles, and put on some nice lean muscle.
Talking to a friend of mine at work, I wish I had started this process earlier (when you could still get good stuff at GNC, or from the little shops in Iraq and Kuwait). But I guess better late than never.
Anyway, nice to meet you all and looking forward to any advice you may have.
