When To Start Cutting?
Hey everyone.
I've been bulking and naturally been gaining some fat too. I've gone from 75kg to 84-85kg now and am not sure if I should stop bulking and cut? I can't seem to find info on how to figure out when to cut which is why I'm a little stuck. Everyone's weight seems to vary (I'm 13 stone but don't look it - perhaps because the fat is covering the muscle?) which is why I'm not sure how much I need to bulk before cutting to get the physique I want.
Any ideas?

I would say if your over 16%bf....I know guys in the gym who know everything but r on just a long bulk cycle at 25-30%bf.......I don't care what you can regurgitate from research, if you can't lead by example then your just full of HOT air and should shut the hell up!

What do you want to look like? Post a pic try and get an idea of what bf% your sitting at. Thats a solid bulk how long did it take?

4 months - but I would say 3 because the first month I pissed about with the diet a lot/didn't take it seriously. This latest month I haven't gained either - more maintained.
I don't think I'm above 15% BF tbh but I don't have calipers to measure. When I punch my pec area it's 'hard' but my mid section is kinda soft still.
Ill upload my goal pics and PM my pics once I'm on a computer but something very similar to you bdos900. I don't want to be huge - just lean, cut, defined and something that is maintainable. A little bigger then a typical beach body for example.Last edited by dinogoesrawr; 05-24-2013 at 03:36 AM.

There is no typical beach body, only in your mind. What are you cutting for. If you are 16% BF or more you need to loose the fat and the water to look hared at any weight. You think and think, but you don't know so follow everyone's lead here. Let us see what you are BF% and muscle, get a POD BF% done. Give us more info on history and more specific goal. Beach body doesn't comprehend with me. Your answer, is , if it is for a show there than here is a time. If no show it is up to you. But 16% body fat is not good in MOP. ...crazy mike
