New, old guy, and the guy part needs help

Hi,
I'm 56 yrs old, 283 pounds. a little un-toned muscle, but mostly a lot of fat. Tested low T. On Androgel for two weeks with no effect, even when I doubled the dose.. My experience with Doctors tells me that having any real degree of relief, is a pipe dream. At the end of a couple years of office visits. Two hours in the waiting room, and another 45 minutes waiting for the Dr in the exam room, knowing all the while that he is hoping I'll give up before he has to explain why he won't prescribe more than useless bottles of topical snot.

welcome major! time to roll up your sleaves and get to work my friend.. you are with the most supportive forum out there, have you been to the HRT forum yet? don't know where your at but cant hurt to read all the stickies, and find a good doc pronto! good luck brother..
