    New York Newbie

    Hello all,

Never done AAS, strongly considering starting my first cycle, currently in the research phase. This site has been amazing for that, thanks for all the easily laid out information and hard work put into it. You all seem like an awesome community.

I am 29, 5'9, and 190lbs, 13% bf. Usually run leaner but have been lazy on my diet. I have decent genetics and have been lifting for 11 years total. I've been plagued with serious injuries (unrelated to lifting) such as herniated discs, broken tib/fib with titanium rod/screws which have set me back at points. I have always gone natural but I am finally at the point where I want that extra bump.

    Look forward to meeting you.

Thanks for the welcome. I was wondering, should I go a little heavier or lighter for bodyweight for my first cycle? I've read being too light can be detrimental because of injury, but being too heavy can increase side effects. I might be overthinking (which I do constantly) but I just want to do things right since I'm a bit anxious being new to it all.
