    Shout out

What's up members, just wanna give a shout out to everyone and introduce myself! I'm Dravin311 and new to this forum stuff. I've always been kind of a private guy but decided to branch out a little bit. Hoping to make some friends and learn some from others!

Thanks fellas, I'll be in and out all day being I'm at work an all. I'm new to all this so be patient with me, lol! Although I been watching and reading on here for a little while! I've noticed a lot of chop bustin of bs questions from newbies! I do give respect though! Lots of knowledge on here from some peeps who seem to have all their ducks in a row!
I've been out of the gym for a year due to a new marriage and a new born gift from God , but now it's time to get my pump back on! Last wed was my first day back in the gym and let me say OMG, I've fell off hard in a years time. My strength is crap, although I've managed to keep a lot of my size! Damn I am sore, sore, sore! I'm only hoping I'll get everything back that I've lost! Does anyone know anything about muscle memory? How long will I start seeing my come back?

Welcome Dravin and congratulations on the new baby! I'm in the same boat about cutting back on training and now paying for it. It will come back though, size AND strength.
    Good luck!

Welcome friend! Muscle memory is different for everyone, but if you were able to maintain some quality size, give it 3 months or so depending of course on training regimen and diet. Best of luck on your comeback and be patient...

Welcome and congrats Dravin! Keep working hard, and you'll feel like you never left the gym to begin with! Remember, the soreness is just a reminder your muscles are waking back up!

Mate the muscles come back quite quickly. It's the guys who have never done anything that have real problems. Remember, pain is weakness leaving the body!
