    Hi everyone

Since I screwed up and posted my introduction in another thread section, I'll repost it here.

Hi there, I just made an account. Looking forward to learning as much as I can. I've been training for about 8 years, but seriously for 5. I am hoping to do my first cycle some time mid next year but I still have lots to learn and am adamant on doing so before I take the plunge. Just wondering if anyone has any good information links I could read (not including this whole website.) I've been reading a lot but like anything on the internet, there is a lot of bogus stuff. Also, I know this has probably been asked to death, but what are your opinions on age to start? Personally, I think it has to do more with your mentality approaching it, training age, and what you're looking to achieve; but my opinion is if you're a teenager it's too young as growth and development are still occurring. I'd like to hear some other people's opinions who are obviously more experienced than myself, what their take on this is.

Anyways, glad to be apart of the forum.

Welcome, I would wait another 4-5 years to give your endo system time to fully mature or your risks double. 25 is the overall best time. Take that time to educate yourself on running safe cycles and adding some more weight naturally. Good luck

Hah, I'm assuming the consensus on this forum agrees with the stickied thread? Currently 20 yrs old, around 210, 12% bf at 5'10-5'11. Not sure how much more weight I can put on naturally.

    That's why I'm here
In college studying physiology, so I do have some background knowledge. I'm more interested in learning about cycling information, steroid types, etc... Basically the stuff you won't learn in a classroom.

From a neurological perspective the prefrontal cortex doesn't finished developing until around the age of 25. This area of the brain is responsible for planning, impulse control, emotional regulation, and abstract reasoning. Its interesting to read posts by people in their early twenties on this forum. Some of them clearly reflect a deficit in these areas.

Welcome. The threads at the top of the Q&A section are a good place to start, as are the ones on nutrition. Be safe and good luck!
