    20 year old college baseball pitcher 1st cycle

    Hello,

    I am interested in experienced steroid user advice. I play college baseball and I only pitch. I do a lot of throwing and would like to know if there is a first cycle steroid that isn't harmful to the ligaments/tendons that are undergoing constant strain because of the amount of throwing that I do. I'm in my first year of college ball and play at the elite level. I'm looking for a steroid that I can take to build lean muscle to improve in strength wise; however, because I'm a pitcher, I still want to have good flexibility and not be so bulky but more lean. I know how to take good care of my body. I eat healthy, exercise daily, and get good amounts of sleep at night. This would be my first cycle and I would appreciate experienced advice on what steroid I should begin with.

    Your to young man. Just stick to strength and conditioning and of course long toss. You don't want to do a dumb cycle and mess your endocrine up.

    Yes I do myself. I cycled twice once at 18 and once at 21. The first cycled I recovered fine no pct either. Second cycle I did not run a pct either right after I came off I started suffering from ED low libido etc. No matter how good my diet was It was hard for me to make decent gains I had no motivation tired all the time. I fought all these symptoms until now im currently 23 and I just started TRT because my body won't produce enough naturally. All because I cycled to young. Play it safe man and wait till your 25.     Welcome. You will not hear anyone on here recommend that you even consider anabolic steroids at your age. Many have done that and a lot are on TRT as a result. Its like playing russian roulette except that half the chambers are full. Get your diet right and stick to a consistent sport-specific strength and conditioning program. As a college athlete, I'm sure you have access to a strength coach that can help. Good Luck, Trevor S, and welcome!

    What would you recommend as the best alternative to taking other than steroids that could produce close to similar results to an 8 week cycle of test e or test p such as like maybe hgh?

    The best thing is (1) A clean diet with lots of lean protein - I mean a whole lot - like 1.5g / lb. of body weight per day. That's hard to do. I have trouble eating that much but I'm way up from where I was several months ago and it has made a huge difference. (see the nutrition forum) (2) A very consistent, high-intensity workout where you take it to failure on most exercises. (see Marcus's Diary in the off-topic section).

    Look, the thing is that anabolic steroids can do things that no other compound can. They are a great tool; but are virtually worthless without consistently good diet and exercise. Those really are the keys. There are guys here that post their cycle results and get flamed because all they did was use some gear and lift weights in a haphazard manner. Their gains are negligible because their diet and workout sucked.

    At your age, you have natural testosterone levels that most here would be envious of. After a couple of weeks on testosterone, you will have no natural test production. After you stop, it might come all the way back, it might rebound to a lower level, or it might not come back anywhere close to normal. This is not to mention the impact on the rest of your system. Really read that sticky on the young and steroids that clarky posted.

    Every vet here (and there are some huge guys with tons of experience under their belt - a hell of a lot more than me) will tell you to stay away from drugs. Take advantage of your natural test. Study how to diet correctly and implement it consistently - trust me, its damn hard. Stick with tough, focused, goal-centered workouts. If you do this consistently until you are 24 or 25 and study everything about AAS, you will be ready to know if you really want to take the chances they pose and how to minimize the rishs while maximizing your gains.
