About time to get the knowledge I need without reading for hours :D

Hello everyone, my name is Dustin I've been lifting weights for almost four years now. I started when I was 16 and now I'm 19. I started out as that fat kid at school everyone picked on, now I'm 200 lb and about 15% body fat. It feels great, sadly I never took pictures of my self when I was fat. I never thought I'd actually stay at the gym more than a month but getting bullied everyday just forced me to go to relieve my stress and anger, hey it prevented a few murders. (Sarcasm, or is it?) I've started helping a few of my friends at the gym and so far in the past month they've lost 10+ pounds each. I'm not sure on how to post pictures onto this website besides the profile picture.. I'm turning 20 in July and I'm wondering if it would be a wise choice to start using steroids during October 2014? I don't want someone who's just going to off like I'm some type of moron saying how much of a dumb s*** I am and so on. I would prefer if someone would be able to give me some legitimate feedback on the dangers and so on. The internet is filled with BS, from weight loss/extreme muscle building supplements. My goal with this forum is to learn some more about steroid use and bodybuilding. I get distracted very easy so it's a pain in my balls to sit here and read over and over for hours on end. Feedback is appreciated!
    Height: 5'9
    Weight: 200lb
    Bench : 225x12
    Squat 325x6
    Deadlift 315x5

My goals are simple, to become as lean and mean as possible. Diet advice is appreciated as well! I do calorie count even though it's a pain in my rear. 180G of protein just from chicken a day, two scoops of whey protein (45G of protein) Brown rice/water and a veggie replacement! Help a young fella out and give me some advice!

Welcome. Congrats on the lifestyle change. Good on you for helping your friends, too. We all need encouragement from time to time.

Your workout program confuses me a little bit, but everyone is different. Your body may respond completely differently than mine to a particular kind of exercise. There is a lot of good info here regarding lifting techniques and routines; but in the end day, you have to experiment and find what works best for you.

Of far more importance (and much greater difficulty) is diet. The nutrition section here is outstanding. The guys there have helped many people, myself included. Once you implement an effective diet and stick with it consistently - and that is damn hard to do - the changes are amazing. I found that getting my diet right was far more important in achieving my goals that using AAS.

As for the steroids, you are still pretty young. Everyone runs a risk using them. Some guys recover quite well. Some guys have trouble. A fair number of guys, especially young guys it seems, never recover. The risks are real. They can be reduced, but not eliminated.

I'm not going to give you the "stay away from steroids" speech. I will, though, suggest that you spend a couple of years getting your diet right and learning the what, how and why about properly using AAS. It takes time to learn. Once you spend a couple more years learning while you get your diet and workout perfected, you will be ready to decide if the rewards are worth the risks.

In addition to getting over to the nutrition section, read the stickies in the Q&A section - especially the young and steroids and the first cycle sticky. Those will help you learn more about the risks. They are real.

    Welcome and good luck.
