Hi folks, good forum I have been a lurker for a while and decided to register .
A little about me. I am just shy of 40 years old, have been training all my life in some form of another. I did my first ever cycle of anything last year which was just a long slow anavar cycle 25mg ed for 16 weeks. Was happy with results- my goal was to get me back to strength levels I had when I was 30.

My raw drug free personal bests at 87kg b.w. were 200kg squat(NO WRAPS), 140kg bench 220 kg deadlift- this was at 30. The anavar cycle bought me back to that at a slightly heavier weight of 92kg.
I have also done other things in life including the Ironman triathlon, and have a keen interest in martial arts.

ANYWAY....I have kids, and a business, and of late age and work has started to get its foot in the door. There was a time when tuna and creatine had me looking great.Now adays when I put a push on I end up sore , tired and emotionally erratic.
I cant hide from it anymore. Even though {if i do say so myself) I look very young for my years, AGE is catching me. I was a skinny kid and a hard gainer. If I stop training for any length of time I shrink. However having good technique and muscle memory I can get back, but it takes longer nowadays and takes a massive impact on my mood ,tendons and ligaments.
I am a fan of the golden age - Arnold Franco Serge Zane and the gang. I have no intention or wish of becoming a mass monster , I just want to get into my 50s and 60s while still being able to train.
I am here to invistigate g.h. in a kinda weird life extension way. But with classic old school training thrown on top.

I have many friends running stuff, I see them go up I see em come down. I like the thought of slow solid ,mild gains. Im not looking to go on stage, I am happy with my strength levels, I just want to STOPTHESLOWDOW.

Thats me in a nutshell.

Thanks folks. Great minds and all that. Never stop learning. I love to escape to this forum on the Iphone from time to time during work. Its been like a support group as such, and I wasn't even contributing to the conversation.
I looking forward to chatting to you all .
