New Member, Dropping in to say Hello and a run down about me
Hello all,
Just feeling my way around this site. Seems like its packed with well documented knowledge for what I am trying to do.
A little about me, I am a computer engineer, programmer, coding and setting up hardware to interface with the software. A nerd some would say. However, I'm not anti-social, I love lifting weights, and I'm very goal driven.
Just finished up my Master's degree in computer engineering and now I am looking to get into my next goal. Bulk and cut. Maybe steroids won't be necessary in my case, but I see there is a wealth of dieting and workout information that I could benefit from instantly.
Workout background - I was a swimmer in high school, a late bloomer when it came to lifting weights (25 yrs old), and have been able to consistently workout for 3 1/2 years till I cut open the bottom of my foot then I moved and the excuses mounted until next thing I know I haven't been in the gym for 6 months.
First 2 weeks getting back into the groove are usually the roughest so right now I'm just getting through that and the soreness. So far so good.
Body specs - 6'1.5 around 188-191lbs and 10-11% BF (done with calipers by a bodybuilder). 3 and half years ago I was 6'1.5 around 155 lbs.
Sups - Isoflex, Carbion, Aminocore, Razor8 blast powder (yes I like Allmax). MVP 365 for multi and Udos Oil for fish oil.
Workout reg - chest & tris day, arms & abs day, shoulders & back day, legs day. I rotate this weekly with a day of rest in between chest/tris and shoulders/back. So I'm in the gym about 5-6 days per week. Workouts last about an hour each with no waiting for weights at my gym. I keep it uptempo with minute and half between sets.
Goal - 6'1.5 and about 225 with 5-6% BF.
Timeframe - undecided, I think its doable in 18 months following the advice of the forum members here. It's all about diet and workout for the start of this I believe, if I hit a round block maybe mild cycle will put me where I'm at.'
If anyone has a good well rounded weekly diet plan or know of one on the forum they could point me to that would be much appreciated.
