New member - looking for advice and thanks for the Add
Hey Members,
New guy here. Did a Google search on my current treatment (low T) and found a lot of links pointing to this site.
Like a lot of members on the site, I'm over 40 and recently had my T level checked. To my surprise it was ridiculously low (300), not to mention my SHBG levels were quite high (mid 60's). So, my free T level was in the gutter. Doc told me I was an excellent candidate for therapy. I was relieved to learn why I was experiencing so much fatigue and a bit upset to learn my body was changing, regardless of my lifestyle: diet (intermittent fasting) & training routine (weights/sprints/stretching/chiro/massage).
I was confident that my lifestyle and supplement routine would keep my hormone levels normal. It was a great exercise in faith and discipline, but the current lab results can not be denied.
My goal with the community is to get educated on being treated for low T as I'm now receiving HRT (currently receiving Cypionate injection weekly) and am one month into treatment. My Doc is a straight shooter, but I thought it would make sense to join up and get some direction/education from the members. I'm also interested in understanding if there are long term benefits to HCG and HRT therapy...or am I putting the cart before the horse. Again, new guy here and really need some additional education.
Thanks for reading my post!
