Thread: Down, but not out

    Down, but not out

New guy here. Recently tested for low test level at 268 total. Going to the Doc on Tuesday for more testing and see what my options are.

I'm 48, ~185# and a little soft in the midsection. Had full blood workup at work, and everything was spot on except for total test.

Been lurking and reading here for several weeks, just trying to educate myself before I jump into anything, or get sold on something.

From what I've seen so far, looks like a place I'll be hanging out at for quite some time.

Thanks. After reading around on here, I wish I pursued this years ago. 2011 I had a T level of 400, and 340 in 2012. I didn't realize those numbers were low.
What I have experienced over those years is a slow creeping feeling of malaise. No energy, no drive, loss of focus and recently the libido has gone in the tank. I'm hoping to turn those around, now that I've gotten a little education on the subject.

    Welcome.

Now it's time to get in the HRT section and start learning more. 90% of the time doctors are clueless about how TRT/HRT should be done.
