    How to find/meet other enthusiast??

I'm about to start my second cycle. I'm not asking for sources or anything of the like. I'd just like to know if there are any ways to meet, train with or hire a trainer that knows what I'm taking. All without bothering somebody at the gym with the awkward question of "do they also use gear"... Even if it's obvious.

I work hard, and even tho my body is not exhausted at the end of the work day, my brain sure is. Kinda looking for a training buddy or a trainer to push me. I worked as a trainer before and worked out with trainers (different city) and it was perfect. It's easier when you're surrounded by other fit people. I'm new in my current city and I don't have any fitness friends here.

If you've gone thru this or have any advice I'd appreciate it.

Welcome aboard. I'm more of loner when working out because I know that I will show up every day. But, I've moved to new gyms over the years and have never found it difficult to find informal workout partners. I keep a regular schedule, as do a few others. I start just by asking one of the regulars, hey buddy can you spot me on this. The friendship will grow from there. Good luck!

    welcome

in general, people do not come here to meet other people, for what ever reason. it occasionally may happen, but usually between people that have acquainted themselves over a period of time.

Yeah, I'm good at make friends at the gym. Just always felt weird about breaking the ice about gear. I wasn't looking to meet people from here since there are so many rules. I'm sure it may come across as fishing or looking for sources etc... But if love to know people in my area that I can openly talk about gear. And yeah, once I get in a rhythm I rather work out alone. But I'd like to be able to ask somebody in person about gear and all the noob questions that may arise. There's so much info on here that I have trouble keeping up. So much knowledge in this forum.

    Thanks guys!! And gals...
