Great community here, fantastic resource. I've spent a bunch of time recently on this site and many others researching AAS and finally decided to try them on myself.
I'm 32, married with 2 young kids. I've been lifting weights on and off since I was 14. I got inspired at a young age by my cousin who was a regional champion bodybuilder. I never saw myself as a pro bodybuilder but I loved the idea of being big and strong, as I was always a small kid.
I never fully committed to the lifestyle but I always worked to keep myself in shape. There have been downtimes where I let myself go a bit (especially when my kids were born) but for the last 2 years I've been training harder than ever and I'm in the best shape of my life.
I never even considered using AAS until recently. I bought into all the stereotypes and I was afraid to get btch tts and ruin my blls. As hard as I had been training, I felt I was reaching a natural limit and couldn't break through my plateaus no matter how I changed my routine.
A friend who I trust suggested I try a mild AAS like var. I did some reading and it seemed pretty low risk and I decided I would try it out. Then I spent more time reading and I started to notice a common thread: run test as a first cycle.
I started with 1 vial of test E about a month ago and I've been injecting 0.75cc twice a week. 300mg per cc.
Over the last week and a half I've been noticing a major difference. I'm feeling more energy and strength than ever before. I'm lifting way more, recovering faster and eating like a horse. Other than a few pimples I'm having no issues with sides.
I plan to stay on this cycle for a total of 12 weeks, then I have some pct stuff to sort myself out afterwards. I might run the var after that as part of a cutting cycle.
Thanks for having me and thanks for all the wisdom.
