For the love of iron
Hello all,
Just wanted to introduce myself, I'm 19 years old, played rep hockey for almost 10 years and near the end of that venture I found my true love, lifting.
Ive been lifting for a year consistently now. Had to work hard to get started at it again, after a major setback in my life when I was 17 that had me excused from school and move 1 hour from everyone and everything I had. When I started back into lifting, I was 18, and I built a wooden power cage, had an Olympic bar and a load of plates. Now I've settled into a more permanent job and house, and so I replaced ' The Beast ' with life fitness pro 2 machines, a half rack, a bunch of bars and a whack load of other stuff that makes you sore the next day.
I'm here now, looking for diet input, training input, and hopefully to share some of what I've learned over my few years of on and off lifting. First goal for me, is to lean out, then start packing on the size but properly, so I'm not strong as an ox but look like the Michelin Man.
I look forward to chatting with everyone, and enjoy the weekend!
R.
