    New guy.

    My Hx:

    42 yr old male
    175lb
    5'9''
Diet and exercise is fairly dialed in. Gym and Hiit 4-6 days wk. Cardio - 3 - 5 days a week
Have been in and out of the gym since I was 13.

My size is lacking, therefore I believe TRT is in order.

Looking to learn as much as I can about cycle running, and how to do it safely.

    Goals:

    Strength
    Size gains
    Cardio VO2 endurance
    Getting my diet dialed in
Some sort of accountability ( if possible )

Hope to gain much from the crowd here.

Welcome to the forum. If you go to a trt doc you will most likely be able to get on some test. I was able to take it since I was 36. You will love it! I am 45 and as we get older we forget what it is like to have test blasting through our systems and it is something every middle age guy should do, in my opinion.

There is plenty to read and learn here. Good luck and again, welcome aboard!

    Thanks. Question for you.

The mods can move this if needed, but ...

I have no idea how to broach the subject with an MD, convincing them I need it despite if my bloods are WNL. I have not had bloods done yet, but I imagine my test is low, but trying to explain to the doc the how, why, and what I need is what I am struggling with. I am not a moron, but I don't want to sound like I am just Test-shopping.

Do you suggest a Urologist, Endocrinologist, or just a GP to get what I want?

And yes, I don't remember what it is like to feel great with plenty of test coursing through my system. I am looking forward to it. Crossing my fingers.

I have done plenty of reading in the forums, but I am not even sure what to ask for... Test E, C, or P? What about dosing? 150? 250? 2x week? What about dealing with my shut down? Do typical docs understand I will need Tamox, Clomid, or other AI?

Like I said, I just want to be informed, but not come off like a dick to the md -- Many MDs don't like being told what the patient needs ... any input is helpful

Wingman, I would start reading in the subforum linked below. I believe it will help you out. Take note of the "stickies" at the top of the subforum. Lots of good info there.

Welcome aboard. We are same height and weight although I am 49. Have been on TRT since 2012 and I love it. Let me know if I can assist - lots of great info here but sometimes tough to find what you are looking for.
