New member
Hi there; new guy, from Montreal, age 57.925 (58 next month), vegetarian, into meditation and yoga, but new to bodybuilding; I'm about 140 lb; --whatever portion of it not being pure fat having been acquired in the last 6 months. Ironically, I've been scientifically interested in bodybuilding, supplements and nutrition for years, so I thought a lot about BB without actually doing it; --a fan of Mentzer and HIT. Been on a ketogenic diet on and off for a couple of years, but recently read about carb cycling on this board and decided to give it a try. I'm also on my first cycle; started last saturday, and I apologize in advance; not just test, as is usually recommended; thirds of test, tren and eq, all long esthers, pretty low dose. Tried win before, but I got a bad case of benign prostate and it didn't help with that.
Started off BB doing pure HIT, and was gaining strength until I wasn't; so a week ago I switched to high reps and now I can begin to see some muscles on the mirror. Starting to think the traditional way, and Mentzer's way, are complementary. Mentzer observed that people on high reps plateaued after a while. For me it was the other way. I'm planning to keep on hi reps now till I plateau, then go back to HIT, wash and repeat. I'd better get it right quick, or wait for the next incarnation...
