New Member looking for knowledge and experience I don't have.

Hi everyone, new here, been reading for a couple of weeks, and decided the best way to get started was to get started.

I'm 39 and have been a professional fitness coach for about 6 years now, unprofessional for 4 before that. I've been weight training, and all around active guy since my teens, but consistent hard training since 2005.

Haven't ever had a body fat problem thanks to the genetic metabolism lottery, but because of that have had a struggle putting on the muscle mass. I'm 5'10" and was 154 in 2005 and now hover between 180-185 at 12% BF, and it was hard work getting here.

I know how to train but damn I am having the hardest time getting to that 190-195-200 range. As well, I'm going into my 40's and muscle isn't getting an easier to gain, so I've been debating doing a cycle or two and Im the type to want all the information I can get to make sure something is right for me, so here I am. hoping the more experienced members can help clear up some of the mountains of contradictions on the web.

At your age you will definitely benefit from an entry level test cycle. IMO you should run a basic 500mg/wk of your choice of testosterone ester for 12 weeks. This is the best bang for the buck with mild estro symptoms.
