    Newbie needs your two cents

Hey guys, I wanted to get your feedback on my scenario. Please take a minute to read it and I would appreciate your feedback.

I am 27 years young, 5'9" and weigh around 165 lbs w/ approx. 15% bf. About a year ago, I was in a pretty good shape - around 155 lbs w/ <8% bf.
I stopped working out around Dec 2015 and haven't had a chance to get back into it but I haven't given up hope yet. I am trying to get my shit together and attempting to workout at least 4 times a week. Going back to the gym is a kind of disappointing sometimes - I lift on my own, I can't lift what I'd like, I burn out of energy real quick, and I'm dissatisfied with my workout and my eating habits. I know I have to eat right and I just don't have a plan that sticks anymore...I've gotten lazy!

My ultimate goal is to be around 170-175 lbs but packed more w/ muscle. I don't wanna be the skinny guy anymore.

I've been always wanting to try out Anavar and read great amount of stuff about it. I wanted the community's opinion on if (and when) I should attempt to try anavar. Any guidance would be greatly helpful. Would Anavar be a good idea to jump start my workout and appetite growth?

    Thanks!

Hi there, welcome to the forum! Glad you are asking questions.

165 lbs at 15% body fat at 5'9" is not a solid enough base to start taking anything. At 27 years old you still have lots of potential for natural training, and could make gains in size and strength pretty quickly with a solid training routine and diet.

Your first task is to break through that laziness. You need to find what motivates you so that you can go to the gym and stick to your diet for a few years and build yourself a solid size/strength foundation. You're wasting the potential of what these substances can do for you if you don't have consistency and dedication in your workouts.

    Good luck!

Hey there I read your above post and I agree with the other member when they suggest that you tap in to your natural potential first, after all you are only 27 yrs old. If I were in your shoes I'd go see someone who knows how to set up the nutritional aspect of it along with a training plan so you can get back on track. Perhaps a strength coach or something. Believe it or not the correct amount of calories ie macros(carbs, protein, fats) along with a solid strength training regiment will yield some incredible results and that's all natural. How do I know this? because I tried it myself. And I did it all natural with proper nutrition and a challenging amount of weight for all my muscles. About 4 months in my body had changed an incredible amount. Imagine being at that peak of fitness then adding in some properly cycled gear...the possibilities are endless.
