Forgot to say hi!
Hi everyone!
Joined couple of days ago and forgot to introduce myself.
I'm quite familiar with AAS use, I can't count my amount of cycles, but years on. Much of the time using no more than a high TRT dose.
While this seemed smart at the time, being less stressful, it wasn't very smart regarding my HPTA.
So I've made my share of mistakes, and hopefully learned something in the process.
Apart from training, I'm also quite the nerd when it comes to physiology, pharmacology and things who are and are not related to how the body functions.
I'm here to learn new things, share my knowledge and lack of it, and talk shit in general.
Wish you all a nice day!

VERY nice. Welcome from a member who has even less posts than you. As someone currently on TRT myself, I look forward to picking your brain a little about what it's been like going between TRT to normalize yourself, and using steroids to run a cycle.

Welcome. I'm a newb with all this. I turned to this world for TRT after cancer. I planned on doing a high dose of TRT year around. What is HPTA? and why is it bad year around?

The HPTA is the Hypothalmus-Pituitary-Testicular-Axis,
where the Hypothalamus is the center in the brain reacting to what levels of sex hormones (like Test and Estrogens) you have, and thus send stimulatory messages to the Pituitary when they are low.
The Pituitary also reacts in itself to sex hormones, but is also influenced by the Hypothalamus.
These two centers are in the brain, and they control your Testicles.
The Pituitary normally sends to signaling hormones to the testicles: LH and FSH.
LH stimulate test production, FSH spermatogenesis.

And my HPTA is bad all year round due to me having using AAS over long periods of time, which in my younger days I were able to recover from, now I'm not.
To say it plainly, I have permanently changed how much Testosterone my body will produce.
(There might still be options that can reverse this,
but it would take so long, and with sub normal T, that I'm not able to do it,
Especially since i don't know for sure, or rather, think it unlikely, that I'll recover)

Ok folks!
I just have to say; thank you all for the warm welcome!
I know I can be a smart ass and have unusual ideas,
But hopefully this only opens for better discussion and re evaluating ideas.
My aim is simply that there is so much we don't know,
so let's find more answers together.
Still, I try to make it clear that my wild speculations or previous mistakes, are not something a first timer (or a second timer) should follow.
(Or anyone for that matter)
I do have practical knowledge on how to use AAS,
and how to do it "correctly", if one think there is a correct way to use it besides for injuries and other medical reasons.
But this can sometimes be lost in my wild theoretical ramblings.
ok, enough ramble,
Thank you all again!
