I'm 20 years old: 6'1 and around 190.
My training has been mostly focused on powerlifting for the past 3 years, but I've taken up olympic weightlifting over the past 6 months and have been loving it. I've considered doing a cycle of test for a year or so, but am still not set on anything (probably a good thing). Gains are steady in the gym, but putting on muscle has always been a struggle with my small bones and fairly winery frame. I had blood work done a few weeks ago and my test levels aren't alarmingly (as they shouldn't be with my age), but they are on the lower end which seems to be the case with the men in my family. My father and his brothers aren't particular built for any strength sports as they all have small bones, small hands, and pretty bad joints overall (they've all had some form of depression and most of them are on TRT right now). It looks like relatively low testosterone runs in the family, so I've been looking for ways to boost them in myself: I tried Tongkat Ali for a month and a paleo diet for a while and the results have been good but not great (more motivation, gym performance, overall more confidence). Placebo or not, there definitely been some improvements in my life with a "testosterone boosting" diet. Lower levels of test just seems to run in the family I wanna see if I can change that in myself.
I'd love some feedback/discussion and glad to be on the forum!
