What's up everyone I just registered and going to be coming on here to hopefully get some well rounded advice from guys and gals I normally wouldn't have access to, and to share some knowledge I've picked up along the way so I'm contributing as well. Quite a few of my close friends are into fitness and lifting but I'm the only one who has ambitions to compete and I'd like to get some info from you guys "in the know".
My stats - 34 yrs old
6'3'' 218 12-14% bf
I don't max anymore but I can bench 315 for 2-3 reps
My heaviest deadlift was 455 for 2 and squat 365 for 4 (2 herniated discs in lower back so I shy away from squats and deads these days and stick to the leg press).
So I'm fairly strong but nothing super impressive, but my goals are also quite different than they used to be. I'm eating at maintenance which is only 2100-2300 cals which is crazy my metabolism is very slow (prob due to age and possibly other factors).
The only gear I'm on at the moment is Test enan 300 1cc e4d.
So my first "get to know you" question is how much muscle do you think I need to put on if I wanna step on to a regional bodybuilding stage for a comp? I'm bigger than a lot of the people around me but I feel small AF lol and know I need to lose a lot of body fat to really start getting the look I'm going for.
Second question (and last one for now) is where do you think I should start if I wanna move in that direction?? I need some solid advice guys (and girls), THANKS!
