First post on the site, so I gotta up my game here. Looks like there is a ton of info on here, as one of my old service buddies told me about this site.
Been active my whole life, but the shoulder and other injuries are catching up with me... Can't stop the clock; unfortunately, I guess.
I was tagging along behind my older brother at the gym, when I was growing up. In high school I was quite a successful powerlifter, winning the state teenage 181 lb division two years in a row, and the state high school division, along with competing in the Nat. Teenage Powerlifting Championships in Scotsdale, Arizona in 1983 (saw Larry Pacifico there and some other big names... fuck, that was a long time ago...), and jumped on my first of many cycles while I was senior in HS...
Joined the Nav to see the world; that's how they sell it to you... It should say: "Join the Navy and see the world, out of your asshole." Had a great ride, 23 yrs worth, and now ended up living in Europe (Poland, to be exact...), and starting a second career as an English teacher... WTF.... Life is great, ain't it...
Here in E. Europe, the gear seems pretty good... I am currently waiting to finish rehabing my L shoulder, and then I will jump on the gas again; but I gotta wait on the shoulder... Old age is no fun...
Thanks for the welcome aboard!!!
