Hi,
I am new to this forum. My name is Charles de Jong, I live in the Netherlands. I am 19 years old (born July 13th 1984). I have been working out since September 2000. The first year was a lot of screwing around with different machines and exercises. I didn't know anything about bodybuilding so I just did every machine my gym had to offer:P
After that year I met someone who knew a lot about bodybuilding, and that's how I got into serious bodybuilding.
My stats after 3 years and 1 month are:
- 1,77m - that's something like 5'11"
- 81kg - that's 180lbs.
- Arm circumference: 38.5cm - that's about 15,5"
- Chest circumference: 104cm - that's about 41,5"
- Upper leg circumference: 60cm - that's about 24"
- Calves circumference: a mere 35cm - that's about 14"
- Max. benchpress: in a few weeks I will have a max. attempt, but I think it's about 110kg-115kg, that's about 245-255lbs.
- Max. squat: also in a couple of weeks, but I think it will be around 150kg, that's about 335lbs
- Max. deadlift, in a couple of weeks also, but it must be something in the range of 165kg, that's 365lbs.
I started powerlifting 5 weeks ago. I like it a lot, I think strength is too important to ignore. So I will do this till around April next year. After that I will continue the bodybuilding. Because of the shock effect and the strength increases I hope to grow a lot.
