Hi guys,
Im new here and to the whole roid lifting thing, I have a good friend thats been doing this stuff for years now and is very knowledgeable in the jist of it. But I have a little different situation then he did when starting and although he has advice on the question Id like some more input so here it is.
Ive been working out for a couple months now but just starting cycles and I keep reading how important it is to take in tons of calories and protein. Of course I understand that a skinny guy needs to take in lots of calories to add meat so was how my friend came to be his size, But I am an overweight person trying to slim down and build muscle and I have had people tell me that since I have alot of extra weight I dont need to eat as much cause my body will use what I have stored but Ive also had others tell me I still need to take in lots of protein and calories. So Id like to get some input from you folks figuring some of you might have some good advice on the subject.
For reference I was 355 pds last july I am down to 280 now with doing the atkins diet and walking. But that just isnt working anymore so Ive taking up lifting and just started cycle today to help give me a boost. So any help or advice is appreciated since its all new to me and I can use any info. Thanks guys
