    This Tour France stuff?

    I don't get what's going on?

I have a question for any of you who care to answer.

I had a testicle removed, kinda like Lance, and my test levels were up and down, around the block and all.

How do you think Lance's test levels are ?
Do you think they have always been of a normal level?
If they are little high could he just get by with saying that he's got one testicle so what and who would question him?

I don't understand this story at all. If you have links with good info on this please post.

I keep getting news crap slanted views?

This is not Lance Armstrong. The winner of the 2006 TDF has had 2 samples test positive for "synthetic" testosterone . It has nothing to do with endogenous test levels, it is synthetic testosterone that is at issue.

The guy is guilty. He just wants to find some loop hole. Chain of
custody for blood work. He canceled twice on the Tonight Show.

I gotcha Logan13, I was just saying you would think that someone like Armstrong levels would have fluctutated over the years also from test to test. I don't know what is going on I was following a report about some team members being caught with blood bags for epo. Its weird cause I think its a big deal yet, we are occupied with other stuff. I'm going to go search around for some more info. Thanks for the replys.

Eposino is a recombinant human erythropoietin (rhEPO) injection intended for intravenous (IV) or subcutaneous (SC) administration. Eposino stimulates the production of oxygen-carrying red blood cells by the bone marrow and is used in the treatment of anemia, a condition in which the patient suffers from an inadequate concentration of red blood cells, as indicated by a low hematocrit of hemaglobin measure.

Anemia may be caused by cancer chemotherapy treatment, kidney failure, or because of the administration of certain drugs used in the treatment of AIDs. Erythropoietin has also been used to increase red blood cell counts in patients who are anemic and scheduled to undergo surgery as a means to avoiding the need for operative blood transfusions.

Your kidneys naturally produce erythropoietin, but sometimes, as in the cases stated above, the body cannot make enough to stimulate red blood cell production. When this situation arises, synthetic erythropoietin (rhEPO) can be administered to increase the production of red blood cells by the bone marrow.

An increase in red blood cell levels should be seen in two to six weeks after beginning therapy in cancer-related anemia patients. When the red blood cell count rises, patients generally feel better.
