do you mean it it has any relevance to global warming during the latest years?

As far as I know the variation in sun luminosity could only account for a few % of the warming. I guess we will se when the sun enters its minimum

But global warming IS only a Fraction of % on average per year. Although I am still on the fence regarding the reason for Global warming but this story would be a legit argument for natural cyclic temperature change.

I acctualy asked one of swedens leading experts this and he said the variation in sun luminosity can not come close to explaining global warming.

Some experts disagree it seems like. But the majority seems to belive that the changes are far to small to have any real impact on earth temperature. Unless there is some wierd feedback loop going on that amplify the effect of a small increase in luminosity.

The next 10 years will rule out or confirm any effect of the sun though.

I would assume that climatologist has compared the temperatures during this maximum with earlier maximums during the 19th century aswell.

I dont know much about it. But I do know most climatologist belive these variations are insignificant.
