It's sad that the American people are blinded to what's going on. Diplomacy will not work. He's been buying time for over a year, and he wll have what he needs to make a nuke within a few months. He will not stop without being forced to.

Diplomacy will not work?? Why not?

If it doesn't, the U.S. just needs to insert enough special forces to cripple Iran's nuclear infrastructure. Someone else (Logan I believe) suggested this and it makes a lot of sense.

That's a terrible idea. Do you think Iran would sit there and let you attack their nuclear infrastructure? Iran suspects something like this might happen so it is probably heavily guarding these areas. They could potentially kill or capture the special forces troops, fire missles at US bases in the middle east, disrupt oil flow, and potentially have a shia revolt in Iraq. Pretending we can solve things like a game of Halo will lead to disaster.

The only blindless I'm seeing is that the media and congress act like they're not looking at the Iraq war playbook all over again.

well fortunaly it will be years before Iran has the capacity to produce weapons grade material so there is no need to rush into anything. They have far far from enough centrifuges to enrichen to 90% and they have no capability to produce plutonium.

I have a ticker of news stories that goes across my screen all day at work, and last week there was a story that said, "Israeli estimates: Iran could have nuclear weapons within three months."

The stories are filtered and all come from good sources.

It's only terrible if it's found out

I guess that isnt a correct expression??

Well who knows what israel gets its intelligence from, or russia, or usa, or the eu countries. I just think its sucpiscious that only Israel is claiming months while everyone else say years...I mean its obviously in israeli interest to put the heat in Iran as much as possible so they wont have to do the dirty work themself...
