one billion is just peanuts anyway. I would not mind the EU bribing russia alone and sweetening the oil and gas deals with russia in order to get russias support. Putin is a smart man, he surely realise the EU market is 1000 times as valuable as Iran.

It would offcourse maby hurt Russias nuclear technology exports to other nations. Im sure russia want to sell plants to egypt and other countries in the middle east.
