There seems to be something missing this election year, as opposed to the 2000 and 2004 election years anyway. The first difference is obviously that the Democrats had numerous victories in 2006. But that has been reported, it is what has not been reported that I find interesting. In the above election years, we had people screaming that election fraud was the reason that their party did not win. Doesn't seem to be happening this election year, has anyone heard of the Republicans pointing to election fraud as the reason for their demise? The answer is NO, they have not been doing this. So my follow up question is, why? Why was "election fraud" so rampant in 2000 and 2004, but not in 2006? The second thing that seems to be missing this year is the newly labeled affliction coined PESTS - Post Election Stress and Trauma Syndrome. A "very serious" malady that kept thousands of Democrats bedriden for months after the elections as was reported on many print and TV news outlets. Perhaps it is absent this year because Republicans carry a gene that protects them from this ailment , or is it something else?

Anyone want to take a crack at these mysteries, you obviously already know what I think?
