    Anti-amercain? I think you have presented both sides of the spectrum and give credit when it is deemed due. Maybe some are trying to portray you as one? I think its laughable those who on a perpetual basis try to "defend" the US. No matter which country you are, if you are the dominant global force you are bound to be critiqued, its just normal. Even if it were Sweden, Canada, France or Somalia for that matter. Everyone likes to take a few swipes at the leader. What is the distinguishing factor is those who react to it as men versus those who resort to infantile rebukes. I have to admit that as much as I detest Bush he is capable of taking the pressure and critic quite well.

    BTW: Regarding the Pravda(which is not some hillibilly russian journal) article I think they are just representing reality. Ever since this whole war against terror, many states seem to have taken an anti-amercain stance or sentiment.

    After 9/11 Americans were all asking ourselves: "Why do They hate us so much?". Our leaders told us that They hate us because we're rich, free, and an open society: "They hate us... because we're free."

    This reminded me of the popular/beautiful kids in high school. The beautiful people would say, smugly: "They hate me... because I'm beautiful!"

    No.

    They don't hate you because you're beautiful.

    They hate you... because you're a JERK!
