IRAQ: Get The Hell Out

The premise and promise of invading Iraq was to depose Saddam Hussein. We did just that, now it is well past time to get the hell out. US soldiers are not the cops of the world and it is not their lives, nor our money, that should be directed all over the world where misguided politicians with less than stellar intentions, decide to send them. There is nothing in Iraq in the national interests of the US. If the sunnis's and shiites choose to fight an insurgency, let them, it is not our fight!!

Nobody "sends" his her children to war. We have an all-volunteer military. The choice is up to the individual. Whether you are for or against the war, those who are fighting it made a choice to wear the uniform.

We do have an all volunteer army, but because the military is the only choice out of the projects, trailer parks, barrios, and reservations for many, it's the poor who usually end up dying in these conflicts.

That is my point. The Clinton brat is managing a billion dollar hedge fund
on Wall Street. The Bush girls are at a party. Your kids are being shot
at in some religious civil war. Makes me want to puke.

If Bush sent his kids to war I would reverse my opinion on his
oil war.

why is this a bad thing, it is an opportunity for many who would otherwise not have one. My dad and brother were both in the army, in fact my dad was drafted, and I am sure that you know that I am not black.

Wow, i could not think of a more offensive comment. Disrespectful and demeaning all at the same time, to both the military and those that choose to serve for whatever their motivation..
