really impressed with how he danced around a question posed to him by wolf blitzer. wolf showed a graphic that had a mccain quote in which mccain said that the bush admin is terrible on global warming and wolf asked the governator what his thoughts were. rather then agree with mccain or bush he played both sides like a politcal mastermind. he said something to the affect that big changes start at the local and state level and then the fed adopts it. he used medicare reform as an example and cited what california was doing to reduce emissions etc. now by doing this he basically agreed that the bush admin isnt good on global warming so he befriends those advocates.....but at the same time sort of made the conclusion that he wouldnt expect that type of policy to come from any commander in chief so it appeased those loyal to bush. i realize that he has many smart people in his corner coaching him and he probably had access to the questions beforehand but if you take away all the "and this business" "and this type of things" in his speaking and he sounds like one of the smarter politicians ive heard in recent memory. a big smile on his face came when wolf asked him if he was going to run for senate in 2010..... he said no with a grin. he is just biding his time until that amendment gets passed that allows him to be president.
