income gap in a capitalist society
Care to discuss.....
"There will always be an income gap in a capitalist society - there will never be parity. One fact of the "haves vs. have-nots" argument that always goes unsaid by the Liberal establishment is that there are achievement and ambition gaps in human nature as well."

Doesnt seem news related but nonetheless...
If you take pure capitalism, the US has one of the closest to the definition as it gets, then parity is not possible theoratically speaking and in empirical evidence. When you have a laissez-faire attitude by the central governement and central banks, it means you let society dictate or sculpt the shape of the economy as the invisble hand employs itself(reference THE Wealth OF Nations by Adam Smith). On the other hand when you have governement intervention it naturally attempt to smooth things out amongst the different income gaps. So to be quite implicit, so as long as their is not acute governement intervention there will always be parity unless human nature is changed, which I highly doubt.
