Did Russia do the right thing, by entering Georgia?

Did Russia do the right thing, by quickly intervening in support of the Pro-Russia separatist groups, before their death toll got even higher

or

Should had Russia respected the sovereignty of Georgia and let all the parties within Georgia fight it out, and just offered moral support to the separatist groups there.

yes russia had peace keepers in the territory. also they are mostly Russian citizens

I voted yes but I have not completely made up my mind. There seems to have been alot of meddling from Russias side for a long time to create this kind of conflict. Totaly impossible to get the straight story on this!

Exactly. The U.S. officials are saying Russia is the aggressor but I keep hearing from other sources over there that the Georgian troops started things and then Russia finished them. I found this to be very interesting as well:

I voted yes, but im still not 100% sure as I don't think anyone will ever get the True Story over it. I heard Russians were being ethnically cleansed..

it is fact that Georgia started it. Russia in most opinions just did an over kill response
